Palestinian Foreign Ministry calls for urgent international intervention to stop crimes of Israeli occupation

The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs renewed its call on the international community to intervene urgently to stop the continuing crimes of the Israeli occupation against the Palestinians, stressing that the UN Security Council should not be satisfied with some formal statements or diagnosis of the situation or directing some criticism or UN resolutions that are not implemented.

Wafa news agency quoted the Foreign Ministry as saying in a statement today: The escalation of the occupation forces’ aggression against the Palestinians, their daily incursions into Palestinian cities and towns, and the continuation of their brutal practices and violations, all contradict international conventions, and amount to war crimes and crimes against humanity.

The Foreign Ministry stressed the necessity of interpreting  international positions into practical measures that would stop these crimes and hold the occupation, which is launching a comprehensive attack on the Palestinian people, that includes all aspects of life, to account.
