Dozens of Palestinians in Al-Bireh city participate in stand in support of prisoners in Israeli jails

OCCUPIED AL-QUDS, Sep.27, (ST)- Dozens of Palestinians in Al-Bireh city in the West Bank participated on Tuesday in a stand, in support of the Palestinian prisoners, who are on hunger strike, and in protest against the continuous crimes of the Israeli occupation against the prisoners.

Wafa news agency reported that the participants in the sit-in, which was organized by the Palestinian national forces in front of the headquarters of the International Committee of the Red Cross in the city, raised pictures of 30 prisoners who are going on an open hunger strike for the third consecutive day, and a picture of the cancer-stricken prisoner Nasser Abu Hamid.

It added that the participants chanted slogans denouncing the occupation’s violations against the prisoners, and calling for international intervention to pressure the occupation to release all prisoners, especially the sick ones.
