Casting moves Syrian theater to Arab audience

Damascus (ST): The theatrical show “Casting”, written and directed by Samer Muhammad Ismail, roams the stages of Arab theaters on a journey through Arab festivals, whichstarted from the Shams Theater in Amman, to move to the stage of the City Theater in Beirut within the “Meshkal” theatrical festival.
Casting blended theater with the worlds of fictional cinema, embodying life in situations of conflict with their mutual contradictions to achieve human aspirations. With a great deal of depth in the distinguished acting performance, mixed human worlds enter into his composition to show the psychological complexes and the emotional and personal imbalance of the characters of the work directed by Ismail in an interesting and dramatic style.
In a statement Ismail clarified that the show today on the stage of Al-Madina Theater will be presented by the National Theater Troupe at the Meshkal Theater Festival, at the invitation of the director and founder of Al-Madina Theater, the great theatrical actress Nidal Al-Ashkar.
About the story of the show, Ismail said that it sheds light on the current moment in a semi-realistic approach to confronting the pressures of  life and the harsh conditions that the Syrian person is exposed to.
