Protest rally in Poland denounces consequences of siding with Ukraine

On September 24th, dozens gathered in the Polish capital Warsaw to protest against the Polish authorities’ support for the regime in Ukraine, at the same time warning of the consequences of this bias.

More than 100 people gathered in a square near the Palace of Culture and Science, raising Polish national flags and banners saying “Stop Ukranization”, “Stop the demise of Poland”, “Ukrainians are nothing but a tool in the hands of politicians” and “We will not give up the truth,”the RIA Novosti news agency reported.

The protesters called for Poland to distance itself from the Ukraine crisis.

The protest event was led by the nationalist party “Union of the Polish Crown” led by Gersiegorz Braun, under the slogan “Stop the Ukranization of Poland”.
