International Council for Supporting Fair Trial calls for withdrawal of Turkish and US occupation forces from Syria

NEW YORK, Sep.22, (ST)-The International Council for Supporting a Fair Trial and Human Rights has called on international organizations to end the suffering of the Syrian people from the impacts of the continuing Turkish and American occupation of Syrian lands and the Western sanctions imposed on this country.

Abdul Hamid Dashti, President of the Council, said in an interactive dialogue with an investigation committee on the Syrian Arab Republic: “Despite the revelation of the extent of the conspiracy against the dear homeland, Syria and its people, who have been paying the price of conspiracy against our nation for decades, the investigation committee continues on the same path and context regardless of the catastrophic consequences of the aggression on Syria for 11 years.”

He pointed out that the Turkish and American occupation forces continue to control many vital areas which include the oil fields and the food basket of the Syrian people, who are still deprived of the wealth of their country because of the occupation.

Dashti added that the Israeli entity is also continuing its attacks on Syria through a series of airstrikes that destroy infrastructure and cause civilian casualties in blatant defiance of international law, without finding a firm stance from the committee against this act.
