100 young men and women benefit from downloading and reading books for free through the enlightening library of a university talent team

With the aim of instilling the love of reading and learning in young people, stimulating their imagination, and raising their creativity and excellence, the enlightening library launched by a university talent team at Al-Baath University in Homs continues to provide various books to the participants, who number 100 young men and women.

The library was established in 2021 on the “WhatsApp” application through an electronic reading group of young people who were later introduced to the most important books. The aim of establishing the enlightening library is to help the young generation to read, which is the human weapon to face challenges, as reading gives them knowledge, skill and experience and unleashes their imagination for creativity and thinking, as a monthly book is read and discussed extensively.

The library has a vital role for readers who get acquainted with new cultures after reading books that contribute to increasing the cultural vocabulary and linguistic output.

The library provides readers with the opportunity to learn about various publications in light of the high prices of paper books for young people, which calls for the formation of youth teams to be additional supporters of culture and art.
