Damascus (ST): The Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) won the competition of the Union of Mediterranean News Agencies (Aman) for the best news and best picture for the period between 2021-2022.
The Board of Directors of the Federation announced, during its online meeting, the name of the winner of the best news competition for the period between 2021-2022, which is the article written by the journalist Muhammad Imad Al-Daghli from the Syrian Arab News Agency, entitled “Syrians werethe first to invent seals in the world,” which talked about seals through the ages. It is one of the most important archaeological finds from which the researcher in archeology derives his information about Syria, the pristine land of the oldest discovered seals in the world.
It is noteworthy that SANA Agency wins the award for the best news for the second time, as it won first place in 2015.
