Zakharova: Washington will become a party to the Ukrainian conflict directly if it provides Kiev with long-range missiles
Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova considered that Washington would become a party to the Ukrainian conflict directly if it provided the Kiev regime with long-range missiles, noting that Moscow reserves the right to respond in that case.
Russia Today website quoted Zakharova as saying in a press conference today: that the United States and its allies who supply the Kiev regime with weapons have in fact become accomplices in war crimes, adding: “If Washington decides to supply Kiev with long-range missiles, this will be a crossing of the red line and will make the United States a direct party to the conflict and in this case Moscow reserves the right to defend its territory by all available means and as it sees fit.”
Zakharova added: In such a scenario, we will have to respond appropriately, considering that this irresponsible step will lead to destabilization to a large extent and will contribute to increasing tension and provocations that lead to an arms race.
Zakharova said: We see that Washington has set out to destabilize the world as well as in different regions of the world in Asia, Eurasia, Europe and Africa.
On the other hand, Zakharova said: Only Ukraine’s return to neutrality can provide real guarantees of security, explaining that the “security guarantees” project prepared by Kiev only opens wide horizons for corruption, as real guarantees for Ukraine’s security cannot be provided through Western financial support or assistance. Rather, Ukraine security can be achieved through the return of this country to its neutral and impartial status enshrined in the 1991 Declaration on State Sovereignty and the rejection of Nazi ideology of the current Kyiv regime and its disarmament.
Zakharova indicated that the security guarantees prepared by these Kiev authorities are not guarantees of security, but guarantees aimed at the continuation of Western countries in funding the current Ukrainian elites, as some elites in the West have the same plans to formalize or cling ideologically to the opportunity to continue participating in the bloody, corrupt war bargain.
Earlier, Zakharova said about the draft security guarantees project for Ukraine that it would burn Western countries, noting that this proposed agreement would put Ukraine in a position of complete dependence on Western countries and force the West to continue bearing the burden of helping the regime in Kyiv.
