Idlib, (ST) –  A number of terrorists, including foreign trainers, were killed and wounded in joint air and missile strikes by the Syrian Arab Army and the Russian Army.

A field source told SANA that after a continuous reconnaissance, monitoring and following-up, our missile forces, in cooperation with friendly Russian warplanes, carried out a qualitative operation in Idlib countryside. “This qualitative operation in cooperation with Russian warplanes targeted places and headquarters used to train terrorists to launch and direct drone”, the source added.

The source pointed out that the operation led to the destruction of those headquarters, including control and command vehicles and drones, in addition to the killing and wounding of a number of terrorists, including foreign trained terrorists.

Russia has been participating in the war against terrorism alongside the Syrian Arab Army since September 2015 at the request of the Syrian Arab Republic.
