Russian forces thwart an attack by Kiev forces on the village of Chorovo in Donetsk

Donetsk (ST): The President of the Donetsk People’s Republic Denis Pushlin announced that the Russian army and the republic’s forces had thwarted an attack by the forces of the Kiev regime on the village of Chorovo near the city of Krasnyi Lyman in the north of the republic.

Pushlin wrote in a tweet on Telegram, carried by the RIA Novosti news agency: “Ukrainian forces tried to cross the river Seversky Donetsk, but failed”.

Pushlin added, “The forces of the Kiev regime tried to launch a limited counterattack that was repelled in the Chorovo region, noting that the Kiev forces stationed in Svyatogorsk suffer from a shortage of personnel and ammunition.”

Pushlin stressed that the situation in Krasnyi Lyman is stable despite the attempts of the Kiev forces to go out for reconnaissance, and that any actions of the Ukrainian forces in the Yambol region have been prevented.
