The movie “Al-Eftar Al-Akheir” is shown on  Jableh Archaeological Amphitheater

Latakia, (ST) – For the first time at the archaeological amphitheater in the city of Jableh, the open air cinema started its shows with the aim of stimulating the cultural, artistic and social movement in the archaeological and tourist sites.

The shows that the General Film Establishment held for three days began with the movie, “Al-Eftar Al-Akheir” (The Last Breakfast), written and directed by Abdel Latif Abdel Hamid.

The film is starring Abdel Moneim Amayri, Kinda Hanna and Karam Al Shaarani, and it talks about the repercussions of the terrorist war on Syria, love in a time of war, and the tragedies and suffering that Syrians experienced from the consequences of that war on all Psychological and living standards and the death and displacement they experienced.

Basem Khabbaz, assistant director of the General Cinema Establishment, said that the Ministry of Culture is interested in holding cultural and artistic events on the Jableh Archaeological Amphitheater, because these monuments are evidence of the greatness of Syria and its deep-rooted civilization.

Khabbaz pointed out that the screening of tomorrow will be the long film “A story in Damascus” directed by Ahmed Ibrahim Ahmed and concludes with the long film “Star of the Morning” by Jud Saeed. He added that long films receive more follow-up than short films, and this does not prevent short films from being shown in the coming years.
