A popular gathering in Hasakah countryside confirms the unity of the Syrian territories and rejects the Turkish and American occupations
On September 12th, Al-Rashed clan held a popular meeting with the participation of the sheikhs the Syrian tribes and clans in the village of Amiriyah Al-Hasso in the Qamishli countryside to affirm the rejection of the American and Turkish occupations and to renew support for the Syrian Arab Army.
Sheikh Hussein Al-Hasso of the Al-Rashed clan said : “The sons of the tribes in the Governorate of Al-Hasakah wanted, through this gathering, to confirm the rejection of any presence of the American and Turkish occupation forces, in parallel with adhering to the unity of the Syrian territories and standing behind the Syrian Arab Army.”
In turn, Sheikh Hassan al-Maslat, the sheikh of the Jabour tribe, stated that “the tribesmen gathered today in the village of Amiriyah Al-Hasso to send a message that we, as tribesmen, reject all forms of illegal foreign presence represented by the American occupation that stole Syrian oil and wheat and the Turkish occupation that occupies the land and targets the water and electricity networks to deprive the sons of Hasakah.”
Ahmed Al-Mohammed, from the Shammartribe, pointed out that the people of Hasakah are keen on uniting the ranks and fighting terrorism and they are all confident that the Syrian Arab Army will liberate every inch of the homeland.
For his part, Rev. Saliba Abdullah affirmed that the people of Hasakah are all confident that the Syrian Arab Army is the one who protects them and guarantees the unity of Syria’s people and land.
