Tourists from China and European countries visit archaeological sites in Daraa

DARAA, Sep.10, (ST)- Two tourist groups from European countries and China visited on Saturday the city of Bosra Al-Sham in the countryside of Daraa in order to enjoy the beauty of its ancient monuments, especially its amphitheater.

According to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), the first group came from Lithuania and it was composed of 14 tourists, while the second one included tourists from Netherlands, Germany, Britain, France, Italy and Spain.

The tourists expressed their happiness when they saw the monuments of Bosra, its historical amphitheater, and the various monuments and techniques used in designing the theater.

The city of Bosra is witnessing several visits after lifting the quarantine procedures of the Corona pandemic.

Tourism Directorate is taking measures to promote tourism to the archaeological sites in the governorate of Daraa with the aim of restoring glamor to them.
