Russian Defense: Russian aircraft destroy a camp for (Al-Nusra) terrorists in Idlib, killing more than 120 of them

Moscow(ST): The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that its air forces bombed a camp for the terrorist “Al-Nusra Front”, which is on the international terrorism list, in Idlib Governorate, and destroyed it completely.

The deputy head of the Russian Coordination Center in Hmeimim, Major General Oleg Yegorov, stated in a press statement, “The Russian Air Force destroyed today a camp belonging to the terrorists of the “Al-Nusra Front” organization in the Sheikh Yusuf area of Idlib, killing more than 120 terrorists.”

The Russian military official explained that “as a result of the Russian air strike, 4 terrorists’ drone control points, launch units, and about 20 hand-held drones that the terrorists prepared to carry out attacks on the facilities of Russian units in Syria were disabled.”

Russia has been participating in the war on terrorism alongside the Syrian Arab Army since September 2015 at the request of the Syrian Arab Republic.
