Transport Ministry: Aleppo International Airport is in service as of today

Damascus (ST): The Ministry of Transport announced the resumption of air traffic through Aleppo International Airport, starting today, Friday, September 9, 2022 at 12:00 noon local time.

The ministry said in a statement this morning that the cadres of the General Organization of Civil Aviation, in cooperation with our national companies, repaired the damage caused by the Israeli aggression that targeted the airport last Tuesday night.

The statement called on the air carriers operating through the airport to reprogram their incoming and outgoing flights as of this date, pointing out that the airport will work with all its energy to serve passengers and airlines around the clock.
