Palestinian Waqf warns against the continuation of the occupation with its Judaization schemes

Occupied Al-Quds, (ST) – The Palestinian Minister of Awqaf (Endowment) and Religious Affairs, Hatem Al-Bakri warned against the continuation of the Israeli occupation in its Judaization schemes in the West Bank, especially the occupied city of Al-Quds (Jerusalem).

Al-Bakri said in a statement today, reported by Wafa News Agency that the month of August witnessed a noticeable increase in the number of settlers storming into Al-Aqsa Mosque, as their number reached more than 2,000 settlers. He added that the occupation also prevented the call to prayer in the Ibrahimi Mosque in Hebron city for 47 times, while more than 353 of its forces stormed into the Ishaqiah prayer hall in it.

Al-Bakri indicated that the Israeli occupation forces notified to stop work in the mosque of the village of Khashm Al-Karm, southeast of Yatta in Hebron. They stormed into the Sakaka Mosque in Salfit, attacked Salah Al-Din Mosque in Abu Dis and destroyed its contents. A group of settlers also stormed the Bab Al-Rahma cemetery adjacent to Al-Aqsa Wall.

Al-Bakri indicated that the occupation authorities expelled dozens of Palestinians from Al-Aqsa Mosque for varying periods in order to empty the mosque to facilitate the settlers’ frequent incursions into its courtyards.
