Leaders of the Syrian Arab tribes and clans affirm their rejection of the separatist “Kurdish” policy

Leaders of the Syrian Arab tribes and clans in the Syrian Al-Jazira region have issued a statement rejecting the separatist “Kurdish” agenda.

“We, the Syrian citizens and leaders of the Syrian Arab tribes and clans, announce our strong denunciation of the separatist policy of the so-called “self-administration” in the northeast and northwest of Syria. We condemn this administration’s disruptive activities and terrorist threats which aim at dividing the homeland,” the statement read.

“Regardless of all the claims, it is clear that the separatist Kurdish leaders are not able to achieve security and stability in the areas under their control,” the statement added, pointing out that “the separatists’ only goal is to maintain their control and achieve personal interests through illegal trading with Syria’s natural resources which are the property of all the Syrian people.”

The statement went on to say that the separatists seek to achieve their goals and ambitions through destruction and vandalism.

“The separatists must return the value of all the looted materials to the Syrian people, their real owner, no matter how long or how short a time this may take,” the statement stressed.

“The crisis that the Syrian people have been experiencing over the past ten years has brought nothing but suffering to them. It led to horrible humanitarian disasters,” the statement explained, stressing that “in the light of the current difficult circumstances in the country, the only way out of this crisis is to preserve the independence, unity and sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Syrian Arab Republic.”

Concluding their statement, leaders of the Syrian Arab tribes and clans said that “for a better future for our homeland, we should unite all our forces to maintain Syria’s security and stability. There is no alternative for us except to be steadfast in the face of the challenges, because Syria will always be unified and for all the Syrians.”
