Installing Solar Lighting Devices in the Commercial Market in Daraa
Daraa (ST) – Daraa City Council has begun installing solar lighting devices in commercial markets in the city center.
The head of Daraa City Council, Engineer Amin Al-Omari, said in a statement to SANA that the installation of the lighting devices contributes in activating and reviving the central commercial market in Daraa city and facilitating the movement of citizens, especially merchants at night. He indicated that the lighting includes Hanano and Al-Quwatli streets with secondary and service roads.
Al-Omari added that the work would continue until the lighting process is completed, stressing that lighting with alternative energy will save part of the electricity and transfer it to the citizens.
