Commissioned by the Presidency of the Republic,  the Ministry of Education honors 105 outstanding students in the Basic Education Certificate

Damascus (ST): Commissioned by the Presidency of the Republic, the Ministry of Education honored today 105 outstanding students in the Basic Education Certificate for the 2021-2022 session, as part of a ceremony held at Dar Al-Assad for Culture and Arts in Damascus.
The Minister of Education, Dr. Darem Tabbaa, delivered a speech in which he said: The city of Damascus is the capital of glory and pride. The city of Jasmine celebrates with you today, excellence, success , achievement, overcoming all difficulties, and proving that success and excellence are a feature of the Syrian youth, so you deserve to be honored.
Dr. Tabaa pointed to the importance of this honor, which the outstanding students waited patiently for, as well as the Ministry to honor those who achieved the full mark in basic education after their nine years of diligence to reach this stage in which they provided hard work and achieved building their basic theoretical and practical skills that allow them to walk a new path in secondary school.
Minister Tabbaa added: Your honor today is distinguished as usual, because it is an honor that brings the whole country to you. I am pleased to convey the love and greetings of Mrs. Asma al-Assad to you, and she is the one who sponsors and supports excellence as part of her national and social role. I convey to you her appreciation and congratulations for achieving the full mark so that you will be loyal builders of this country and maintain your superiority in order to contribute to achieving the prosperity of our country.
During the honoring ceremony, a film about the Excellence and Creativity Commission and the Syrian Scientific Olympiad, poetry passages presented by a Syrian heroine in the Arab Reading Challenge Sham Al-Bakour, and artistic and lyrical passages presented by the Ministry of Education’s choir and orchestra led by Maestro Kamal Sekker were shown.
