Guterres: The Russian delegation should be granted visas to participate in the meetings of the UNGA

New York (ST): United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres stressed the need for the Russian delegation to be granted entry visas to the United States of America to participate in the General Assembly meetings in New York.
TASS news agency quoted a spokesman for the UN Secretary-General  Stephane Dujarric, as saying: “This is an issue that we have discussed several times with the host, the United States, where the Secretary-General considered that visas should be granted to the Russian delegation and other delegations that have business in the United Nations, especially during the General Assembly.”
“This is a question that the Secretary-General has raised several times in phone calls with senior US officials,” Dujarric added.
