Turkish regime renews its attack on Dohuk, northern Iraq

Baghdad, (ST) – The Turkish regime renewed its aggressions and violations of the territories of Iraq. Last night it bombed the villages of the city of Dohuk in northern Iraq, which led to a power outage in these villages for several hours.

An Iraqi security source told SANA in Baghdad this morning that the electricity supply was reconnected to Dohuk after a complete interruption that affected some villages there as a result of the Turkish bombardment.

The Turkish regime continues to attack lands in northern Iraq, violating its sovereignty under the pretext of targeting the Kurdistan Workers’ Party.

Last July, eight people were killed and 26 others wounded by Turkish artillery shelling on a tourist resort in the Zakho area in Dohuk, northern Iraq.
