An initiative to document the tangible heritage in the town of Jbab in the countryside of Daraa

Daraa (ST): The  Cultural Center in the town of Jbab in the countryside of Daraa launched an initiative to document the tangible heritage by photographing the town’s landmarks.

The initiative, according to the head of the center, Muhammad Al-Rahoum, includes photographing the distinguished old and modern buildings with alleys, arches, and other archaeological features with the lenses of professional photographers, pointing out that the center receives suggestions from the local community in the field of referring to the places they see fit with the objectives of the initiative.

Al-Rahoum added in a statement that the photographs taken will be displayed in a special exhibition whose date will be determined at a later time, referring to the importance of this initiative in terms of introducing generations to the history of their town and its old buildings and making it present in their contemporary lives.
