More than 200 companies participate in “Back to School Festival”  in the old fairgrounds in Damascus

Damascus (ST): With the participation of more than 200 industrial and commercial companies specialized in stationery, school supplies, food, chemical, engineering and textile products, the activities of the “ Back to School Festival” kicked off on the grounds of the old fairgrounds in Damascus.
The exhibition, which is organized by the Damascus Governorate, Damascus Chambers of Industry and its countryside, Damascus Commerce, Damascus Countryside Commerce and the Syria Youth Imprint Foundation, includes a range of products and extends over an area of 20 thousand square meters and offers a wide range of offers and discounts on stationery, school supplies, bags, clothes, food, electrical and electronic devices, food, juices, household appliances and detergents and sweets. A special suite was devoted  to children’s games and others.
In a statement to the media, Industry Minister Ziyad Sabbagh underlined the importance of the festival, as it provides an opportunity to obtain school needs with the start of the new school year at low prices and in high quality, benefit from the offers offered by companies, and make it easier for citizens to have all products in one place, which reduces the burden of transportation to get them from the markets .
The Minister of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection, Dr. Amr Salem, called on all merchants and industrialists to exercise their social and national role and responsibility to reduce the material burdens on citizens and work to reduce the prices of their goods and products, as this leads to increasing their sales, promoting their products and giving the citizen the opportunity to purchase all his needs.
