Russian Reconciliation Center: Terrorists impose royalties on students in Idlib

Moscow (ST): Deputy Head of the Russian Coordination Center in Syria, Oleg Yegorov, announced that terrorists are imposing royalties on students in return for allowing them to go to Syrian universities.
RIA Novosti news agency quoted Yegorov as saying in a press briefing: “To obtain permission to leave the lands of the de-escalation zone in Idlib in order to study in Syrian universities, the militants are asking students and their families for royalties in amounts that far exceed their available capabilities”.
Yegorov explained that the terrorists’ actions violate the provisions of the Astana understandings, which guarantee the possibility of civilian movement across the borders of the de-escalation zone, including for education.
