Nebenzia: The West is complicit with Kiev regime in its crimes against civilians

Russia’s permanent representative to the United Nations, Vasily Nebenzia, confirmed that the West is complicit with the Kiev regime in crimes against civilians in Donetsk because of providing it with long-range modern weapons that led to the deaths of hundreds of civilians and the destruction of infrastructure.

“The West is covering up the crimes of the Kiev regime, which brought Ukraine to disaster. This regime chose to glorify Nazi criminals and proved its criminal nature by bombing civilians in Donbass,” Nebenzia said during a Security Council session on the situation in Ukraine.

Nebenzia indicated that the continuous criminal bombing of the Kiev regime on Donbass has killed more than 840 people since last February and wounded 2,800, as the Ukrainian forces are working to destroy infrastructure and public facilities, in addition to using the civilian facility for military purposes. He noted that the West undermines its credibility through political and economic abuse of Russia, asking it to stop the misinformation campaign against his country.

Nebenzia pointed out that the main problem of food insecurity at the international level is the wrong economic calculations and the imposition of sanctions on Russia, which undermined global supply and led to the rise in food prices, which is the result of unilateral Western coercive measures. He called on those concerned to deal seriously with the Black Sea Initiative and not to postpone addressing economic and financial problems that prevent the export of Russian foodstuffs and fertilizers to international markets.
