(A Date with the Sun) … A novel about the social and humanitarian conditions resulting from the war on Syria
The novel “A Date with the Sun” by the writer Mohamed Ahmed Al-Taher speaks of the conditions resulting from the war on Syria through its hero, Georgios, who lived through various situations starting from leaving his country and going to Beirut and Germany, then to America to complete his higher education, until his return to Syria, which suffers from the worst conditions it has ever experienced.
The Syrian General Book Organization’s novel was overshadowed by grief, pain and distress and highlighted the difficult conditions and suffering experienced by Syrians as a result of the terrorist war waged on their country and the resulting difficult social and humanitarian situations, including migration, kidnapping, displacement, poverty and many others.

Georgios’ life begins in the novel since he arrived in Syria during the terrorist war it faced. He was subjected to injustice and then abducted by the terrorists, where he suffered many tragedies, particularly after his mother’s death.
The novel is 239 pages of intermediate pieces, and its author has many other literary publications, including poetry, story, and others.
