175 Palestinian children suffer from torture in the Israeli occupation jails

The Israeli occupation continues to detain 175 Palestinian children in the Israeli prisons of Ramon, Ofer and Majdo within very difficult and inhuman circumstances. The children are exposed to psychological and physical torture in a blatant violation of international laws, the convention against Torture and the Convention on the Rights of the Child.

WAFA News Agency said in a report published on Wednesday that the children are also suffering from deliberate medical negligence, lack of food and cleanness, which endangers their health.

According to the report, most of the detained children are from occupied Al-Quds as the occupation has detained tens of children over the past period and imposed heavy fines on their families, with the aim of tightening the noose on the Palestinians to displace them and Judaize the city.

Since 2000, the occupation forces have detained 19,000 Palestinian children.
