Nasrallah: Syria is the basis of the axis of resistance, and Hezbollah will remain a part of this axis

Beirut , (ST) – The Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, stressed the unity of path and destiny with Syria, because it is the basis of the axis of resistance. He added that Syria is our partner in refusing to surrender to Israeli conditions.

Sayyed Nasrallah said yesterday in a speech on the fortieth anniversary of the establishment of Hezbollah, which was broadcast by al-Manar TV that, “today, tomorrow, and at any time, if Syria is subjected to any aggression, we will not hesitate to defend and stand with it.”

Sayyed Nasrallah stressed the return of normal relations between Syria and Lebanon especially that the biggest beneficiary of this is Lebanon. He pointed to the need to thank the Syrian government and people for standing by Lebanon and its people during the past forty years, as it opened doors for them and secured political, diplomatic and security protection for them.

Nasrallah indicated that Hezbollah will remain part of the resistance axis. He pointed out that one of the results of the legendary steadfastness of this axis in the July war is the overthrow of the new Middle East project, the termination of the “Greater Israel” project and the destruction of the myth of the indomitable army.

Sayyed Nasrallah stressed that the Palestine cause is part of the nation’s honor and culture, and the resistance will continue to stand by the Palestinian people and their cause.

Regarding the file of demarcating the borders with occupied Palestine, Nasrallah stated that the Israeli threats are worthless. He stressed that, the work is continuous to liberate the rest of the occupied Lebanese land as a national responsibility.
