Russia calls for an emergency session of the UNSC on the Zaporozhye nuclear plant

Russia has requested an emergency session of the UN Security Council tomorrow on the situation at the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant.

The Russian RT channel reported that the Russian Deputy Representative to the United Nations, Dmitry Polyansky, had requested an emergency session of the UN Security Council on August 23on the situation at the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant.

The Russian Defense Ministry had warned earlier that the Ukrainian regime is planning a large-scale provocation in the area of the Zaporozhye nuclear plant, where the plant has been subjected to regular bombardment by Ukrainian forces and pro-Kiev Nazi gangs for some time.
