Damascus (ST): On the occasion of the Russian Flag Day, an illumination of  the Russian flag will be  depicted with lights on the building of Dar Al-Assad for Culture and Arts in Damascus.
A News reporter stated that “within the framework of the Russian people’s participation in their celebrations of the Russian Flag Day, an illumination of  the Russian flag will be  depicted with lights on the building of Dar al-Assad for Culture and Arts.”
The correspondent pointed out that on this occasion, there will be a car march tomorrow from the Qudsaya suburb to the Umayyad Square, where the Syrian and Russian flags will be raised.
It is noteworthy that the current Russian flag was approved 30 years ago on November 1, 1991, and on August 20, 1994 the Russian flag was established by order of the Russian President.
The white color in the Russian flag symbolizes nobility and frankness, the blue color symbolizes loyalty and chastity, and the red color symbolizes courage.
