More than 1.4 million visited the “Armia 2022” military forum

The Head of the Major Department of Innovative Development of the Russian Ministry of Defense Alexander Osadchuk announced that more than 1.4 million people visited the “Armia 2022” military forum within the first six days following its opening.

“By the end of the sixth day of the International Technical Military Forum, “Armia 2022″, the total number of visitors exceeded 1.4 million, with an increase of 23.5% over last year.” Sputnik quoted Osadchuk as saying today.

Osadchuk noted that 340 events had been organized within the framework of the Forum, which was more than one and a half times over what had been organized the past year, in addition to 52 conferences, 32 interdepartmental meetings and 69 briefing sessions with the participation of approximately 22 thousand people.

The opening of the forum recently witnessed a variety of events, with military groups representing the participating States carrying their country’s flags conducting a military parade in conjunction with the playing of Russian bands.

Syria participates in the international military forum “Armia 22” with the team of the Syrian Arab Army, which achieved the top places in its group in the Biathlon tank race.
