More than 168 thousand tons of grains are marketed in Aleppo

Aleppo, (ST) – The quantity of grain marketed to the Syrian Grain Establishment in Aleppo since the beginning of the season to date has reached 168,307 tons.

Engineer Muhammad Asif  Issa, the Director of the Establishment, said in a statement to SANA reporter that, the grain is receivedand two different storage procedures are used.

The quantities received by the first one are 49,957 tons, and by the second amount to 118,350 tons of grain.

Issa added that, as a result of the approaching end of the marketing season and the decrease in the quantities of incoming wheat, three centers were identified for the purchase of wheat, including Jibreen, Tal Al-Sous and Tal Balat.

It is noteworthy that the quantities of wheat marketed by the Establishment for this year increased by 60,000 tons compared to last year.
