Shtayyeh renews the international community’s call to provide protection to the Palestinian people

Occupied Jerusalem (ST): Palestinian Prime Minister Muhammad Shtayyeh renewed his call on the international community to provide protection to the Palestinian people and to stop the ongoing crimes of the Israeli occupation against them.

Shtayyeh said in a statement today, carried by the Palestinian Wafa Agency, that the crime committed by the occupation today in the city of Tubas in the West Bank, which resulted in the death of the Palestinian Salah Sawafta, is only a new chapter added to the chapters of war crimes and crimes against humanity committed by the occupation against the Palestinians.

Earlier, the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the killing of Sawafta by the occupation forces at dawn today, while storming the city of Tubas.
