The Palestinian Prisoners Club warns of the deterioration of the health of the prisoner, Iyad Hrebat, in the occupation prisons

Occupied Jerusalem (ST): The Palestinian Prisoners Club warned of the serious deterioration of the health of prisoner Iyad Hrebat inside Israeli prisons, calling on international institutions to pressure the occupation to stop the policy of deliberate medical negligence that led to the death of dozens of sick prisoners.

The Prisoner Club clarified in a statement today, reported by the Palestinian Wafa Agency, that Hrebat, 39, who is detained in Raymond Detention Center, needs an urgent operation, as he is currently suffering from an opening in the abdomen, following an operation he undertook last year, noting that the occupation authorities prevent him from performing it despite his urgent need. They abused him by repeatedly transferring him from one detention centre  to another, which negatively affects him.

The club indicated that Hrebat, who has been detained since 2002, also suffers from a neurological disease that causes him to constantly shiver, affecting his ability to move. He also suffered from temporary memory loss earlier.
