Geneva (ST): The World Health Organization has called for the vaccination of children between the ages of six months and 17 years who suffer from comorbidities with a fourth dose of the “Covid 19” vaccine.
“With regard to the use of Pfizer and Moderna boosters in children, children between the ages of six months and 17 years who have underlying diseases should be vaccinated to avoid high risks in this group,” WHO vaccination expert Alejandro Craviotto was quoted as saying by the media.
He added: “We do not recommend the use of a booster for children who are not in the priority groups, even if those vaccines are licensed for those groups”.
Craviotto said, “To recommend the vaccination of children in general, one needs to know more about these vaccines than is known today and in particular for how long they protect,”.
