The independence of Syria between the national bloc and the national revolutions in a book by Dr. Muhammad Al-Hourani

The writer Dr. Muhammad Al-Hourani, in his new book “Syria’s Independence between the National Bloc and the National Revolutions”, dealt with the divisional colonial plans against the Arab region following the expulsion of the Ottomans, who were the first to divide the region and make it states and districts.

Al-Hourani saw in his book, which is located in 441 pages, that the neo-colonial ambitions are worse, such as the Sykes-Picot Agreement, which came after a series of partition agreements in the Arab region, which suffers from its scourge until today.

Al-Hourani pointed out in the book issued by Dar Baal for printing, publishing and distribution that the French colonialist tried to employ the sectarian diversity of the people in Syria and Lebanon in terms of establishing sectarian states that would help colonialism achieve its project in order to facilitate the passing of colonial plans and control over the Arab region’s capabilities and resources.

The book includes an accurate disclosure of some of what the colonizers did and what they think to do in a systematic and analytical manner in six chapters, in addition to raising other issues that shed light on the behavior of positive and negative political figures and the contradictions that varied between resistance and betrayal.
