Dozens of Israeli settlers storm into archaeological area in the West Bank

OCCUPIED AL-QUDS, Aug.16, (ST)- Today, Israeli settlers stormed into the archaeological area in the town of Sebastia, 12 km northwest of the city of Nablus in the West Bank.

The Mayor of Sebastia, Muhammad Azem, told WAFA that dozens of settlers stormed into the archaeological area under the protection of the occupation forces, in an attempt to impose a fait accompli and control the area through repeated incursions and attacks on Palestinians.

Earlier today, the Israeli occupation forces demolished several houses and facilities in the occupied cities of Jerusalem and Jericho in the West Bank.
