Major General Suleiman: Syria’s participation in the Moscow Security Conference is evidence of the strength of relations with the Russian Federation
Major General Hassan Suleiman, Director of the Syrian Arab Army’s Political Administration, considered that Syria’s participation in the Tenth Moscow Conference on International Security with a high-level delegation headed by General Ali Mahmoud Abbas, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Army and Armed Forces and Minister of Defense, confirms the depth and strength of relations between Syria and Russia and between the two friendly peoples and armies.
Major General Suleiman said in Moscow today: “The relations between Syria and the Russian Federation, which are constantly developing and getting stronger and more solid, stand in the face of the hegemonic and colonial forces practiced by Western countries headed by the United States.
Suleiman added: The heads of the military delegations participating in the conference all stressed that the era of unipolarity and Western and American hegemony is over, and that relations of love, tolerance, peace and the principles of international legitimacy and international and humanitarian law should prevail in all fields.
In his speech today at the Moscow Security Conference, General Abbas affirmed that Syria, with the support of friendly countries, is progressing steadily towards achieving the final victory over terrorism and restoring stability, stressing the necessity of the exit of all foreign forces present illegally on the Syrian territory in order to extend the state’s control over it and to be able to invest its resources which are subjected to looting and theft by the US.
