Washington seeks geopolitical success in Ukraine after failure in Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan: former Czech president
Former Czech President Vaclav Klaus has stressed that the US schemes have failed in Syria, Afghanistan and Iraq; therefore Washington is seeking to achieve geo political success in the Ukraine in order to show itself as the only power that is still dominating the world.
In an article published by the Czech daily “Mladá fronta Dnes”, Klaus said that “NATO’s attempt to expand towards the Russian borders is behind the tension in this part of the world”, reiterating that the war in Ukraine is not, in essence, a Russian-Ukrainian war, rather, it is a war between Russia and the West.
He pointed out that Ukraine has failed to create a government that comprises and unites all categories of the population; consequently, it couldn’t lead the process of political and economic transformation that would make it an independent, strong and unified state.
