Russian MoD: Allied forces fully liberate settlement of Peski in DPR

The allied forces of the Donbass republics and the Russian army completely liberated the settlement of Peski in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), Russian Defense Ministry Spokesman Lieutenant-General Igor Konashenkov reported on Saturday, according to Tass News Agency.

“As a result of offensive operations by the allied forces, the settlement of Peski in the Donetsk People’s Republic has been completely liberated,” the spokesman said.

He also said that the Russian forces eliminated over 100 militants of the Ukrainian army’s 66th mechanized brigade and the Right Sector extremist group in the Donetsk People’s Republic.

“As a result of concentrated fire strikes against the command and control posts of the units of the 66th mechanized brigade and the Right Sector armed formation near the settlement of Stariye Terny in the Donetsk People’s Republic, over 100 nationalists and ten pieces of military hardware were eliminated,” the spokesman said.

He added that the Russian Aerospace Forces delivered precision strikes against the deployment site of the Ukrainian army’s 10th mountain assault brigade, eliminating almost 200 militants in their special operation in Ukraine.

“Precision strikes by the Russian Aerospace Forces against the temporary deployment site of the 10th mountain assault brigade in the area of the settlement of Pereyezdnoye in the Donetsk People’s Republic eliminated up to 170 nationalists and 12 items of military hardware,” the spokesman clarified.
