The Minister of Agriculture and Agrarian Reform, Eng. Muhammad Hassan Qatana, discussed today with the Chargé d’Affairs of the UAE Embassy in Damascus, Counselor Abdul Hakim Ibrahim Al-Nuaimi, prospects for future cooperation in the agricultural field and agricultural trade exchange.
During his meeting with Al-Nuaimi at the Ministry, Qatana stressed the importance of developing relations, achieving integration in agricultural production between Arab countries, organizing work, and setting a joint plan to determine the products that each country needs according to the required standard specifications, pointing out that the climatic conditions in Syria are ideal for all agricultural products, which have good and desirable specifications.
Qatana reviewed the most important agricultural investment projects put forward by the Ministry of Agriculture in accordance with Investment Law No. 18, the indicators associated with it, and the facilities provided to investors.
