Iraqi forces launch a joint security operation to hunt down ISIS terrorists

The Iraqi forces have launched a joint security operation to pursue ISIS terrorists in Salah al-Din Governorate in the center of the country.
The Iraqi News Agency, INA, quoted the Popular Mobilization Authority as saying in a statement today, “A force from the 43rd Brigade of the Salah al-Din Operations Command of the Popular Mobilization and the security forces carried out a joint security operation to search and secure areas south of Samarra in Salah al-Din Governorate.”
The statement added that the operation aims to pursue ISIS terrorists and secure the area.
The Iraqi Popular Mobilization Authority announced earlier the launch of a large-scale security operation to pursue the remnants of terrorists north of Al-Muqdadiya district in Diyala Governorate, east of the country.
