Egyptian party: International silence encourages Erdogan to continue to violate Syrian sovereignty

Cairo, (ST) –  The Head of the “Democratic Federal ” party in Egypt, Hassan Turk, affirmed that the repeated attacks of the Turkish occupation forces on the Syrian territories are violations of international laws.

In a statement to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) correspondent in Cairo, the party leader said: “The practices of Recep Tayyip Erdogan come within external plans to increase the tension in the region in a way that serves his Ottoman dreams and the interests of the Zionist entity.”

Turk denounced the silence of the international community and the Security Council, stressing that this silence encourages Erdogan’s regime to repeat such attacks.

He called for the application of the United Nations Charter and imposing deterrent sanctions on Turkish regime.

Turk called for lifting the measures imposed on Syria, indicating that the Syrian people have suffered a lot and are still suffering because of these measures.
