The number of Covid-19 vaccine doses given to people in Syria hit 4,130720, says Health Ministry

DAMASCUS, Aug.10, (ST)- The number of Covid-19 vaccine doses that have been given to people in hospitals and centers and through mobile teams and campaigns in various governorates has reached 4,130720  so far, according to the Director of Health Care at the Ministry of Health, Dr. Razan Al-Tarabishi.

Dr. Al-Tarabishi clarified that the number of people who received the full vaccine against the Corona virus is 1,678,762 people, while the number of those who received the first dose was 2405840, and the number of people who received the booster dose reached 46,118 people, according to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA).

She stressed the need to receive the vaccine because it is safe and effective.

It is noteworthy that the Ministry of Health has allocated more than 967 centers and hospitals plus 200 mobile teams in villages and areas where there are no health centers in the governorates to give the vaccine doses.
