Israeli occupation forces attack Palestinians in several areas in the West Bank, kill 17-year-old boy

OCCUPIED AL-QUDS, Aug.9, (ST)- Today, the Israeli occupation forces attacked Palestinians in several areas of the West Bank, during demonstrations condemning the crime committed by the occupation in the Old City of Nablus, which resulted in the death of 3 Palestinians and the injury of dozens.

According to WAFA News Agency, the occupation forces fired poisonous gas bombs at Palestinians in the Muftah area at the eastern entrance to Aida camp, north of Bethlehem, and attacked Palestinians in Shuafat camp, northeast of occupied Jerusalem, and fired poisonous gas bombs at them.

Moreover, a number of Palestinians were injured today as a result of the Israeli occupation forces’ attack on them in the town of Silwan, south of Al-Aqsa Mosque in the occupied city of Jerusalem.

It was reported that the occupation forces stormed into the town and fired bullets and poison gas canisters at the Palestinians, injuring a number of them.

In Hebron, the Israeli occupation forces gunned down this afternoon a Palestinian teen and wounded two others , according to the Health Ministry.

The Ministry said that 17-year-old teen Mo’men Yassin Jaber succumbed to his critical injuries sustained from Israeli military live gunfire during confrontations in downtown Hebron.

Jaber was hit by an explosive round that pierced and stopped his heart. He was rushed to Al-Ahli Hospital’s intensive care unit, where medics attempted to resuscitate him, but to no avail.
