Occupied Al-Quds, (ST) – The Israeli occupation authorities on Monday announced the seizure of Palestinian-owned land and razed another plot of land uprooting olive trees in the south of the West Bank.
Suleiman Jaafreh, a resident of Tarqoumia town, northwest of Hebron city, told Wafa News Agency that army bulldozers razed 12 dunums of land owned by Mohammad Jaafreh and located near the illegal settlement of Tilim, uprooting in the process dozens of olive trees planted more than five years ago.
Meanwhile in the town of Sair, north of Hebron, the Israeli occupation authorities issued an order seizing Palestinian-owned land to expand a road used by settlers, according to Hasan Breijieh, a local activist.
He said a large area of agricultural land planted with trees will be affected by this decision.
