Dr. Al-Jaafari urged the United Nations to make more efforts to play the role entrusted to it in this area, especially that Resolution 2642 explicitly provided for support for the vital service sectors in Syria, especially the electricity and water sectors, within the framework of implementing early recovery.
Dr. Al-Jaafari added: The government of the Syrian Arab Republic read Resolution 2642 positively and ambitiously, and considers the United Nations agencies to be its partners in implementing this resolution.
