Explosion of landmine, left behind by ISIS terrorists in Deir Ezzor, injures 5 children

Five children were injured on Saturday as a result of the explosion of a landmine left behind by ISIS terrorists on the outskirts of the southern part of Deir Ezzor.

Director of Al-Assad Hospital in Deir Ezzor, Dr. Mamoun Hizeh, told SANA reporter that the hospital received 5 children between 8 and 13 years of age with different injuries due a landmine explosion.

He pointed out that two of the children have serious injuries caused by shrapnel in their bellies and different parts of their bodies.

Last Saturday, the explosion of a landmine, left behind by ISIS terrorists in Hweijet Kate’ area in the city of Deir Ezzor, killed a young man.
