Russian Foreign Ministry: Russian-Western relations will not return to the situation before February 24

Moscow, (ST) – The Russian Foreign Ministry announced that the era of cooperation with the West has ended and that there is no return to the situation before the 24th of last February.

The Director of the Ministry’s External Planning Department Alexei Drobinin wrote in an article for the website of the International Affairs magazine, which specializes in foreign policy affairs, according to Russia Today(RT) that, “regardless of the duration and results of the Russian military operation in Ukraine, we can say that the era of thirty years of constructive cooperation in general, even if it was punctuated by some problems with the West has ended forever.

Drobinin added that, “it is clear that there is no return to the situation before the 24th of February in relations with North American countries and Europe.” He said that the stability of the modern world will be ensured by coordinating the interests of a number of centers of economic power and political influence to form the poles of the new regime.
