Syrian equestrian wins the Grand Prix title at the Jumping World Championship

The Syrian equestrian Shadi Gharib won the Grand Prix title at the Jumping World Championship that was held in the Netherlands, adding a new achievement to Syrian equestrian sports at international championships.

Gharib won after fierce competitions for the title at the top category (A) , to prove that the Syrian equestrians are a difficult number in world forums, according to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA).

He won the silver medal in the Mediterranean Games in the individual showjumping competition, which was held in the Algerian city of Oran last month.
